This was really great. The graphics themselves were awesome, but thats not even what makes this stand out... The story was very moving, and the ending was incredible.

Last Promise (Kinen Menu)

"Good work man."

date: December 20, 2009

As i sit and listen to this, the first thing that strikes me is the interesting bell sound at the beginning with the high string pedal point... giving it not only a lonely feeling, but lends some interest. After that the piano is tremendous, and the string swells give it a nice lush sound. Also, the clarinet coming every once in a while gives a nice variety.

Then at 1:27, when you pick it up, it gives a real nice sense of forward motion to it which is almost always a good thing for a second section.

The chords are simple, but that is often good for trying to convey what I think what you were... And as far as the sounds themselves, I don't really see anything to fix, if anything just a bit more reverb on the higher strings...

I thoroughly enjoyed this man.
Good job.

Is This True Love? (Piano)

"Great"

date: January 18, 2009

You've really captured (at least as I see it) the esscence of love my friend...

The melody is memorable and beautiful, The chord progression is simple, but effective... The intro gives a feeling of unending longing. The new section at :57 took me by suprise, but in a good way. Then when you go back into the first section but with more arppegios in the left hand gives a fufillment of the endless longing created earlier with the first section... As if someone you thought was unatainable, but they thought the same about you...

The final cadence at the end is simply divine my friend...

Piano Collab in A Minor =HFX=

"Quite good I shall say!"

date: January 7, 2009

Some pretty good ideas swirling around there...

The melody is pretty unique, and memorable, and that's always a good thing. And the piece on the whole is enjoyable, but if anything a little repetitive... perhaps on the 2nd to last time through you could change the melody a little more?

Also, I have to agree with some of the reviews below me... At 0:14 the Bass comes way up, while the rest of the piano stays down in volume. It's not too distracting or anything but this could have been a pretty good climax if you crescendoed into it with the piano as a whole. The melding between the hands you mentioned could be a really good idea, just if they both eased into the dynamic levels.

Good job on the whole though! :)
