Just Perfect

I like the violin (ostinuto?) in the beginning, very good use of percussion. Great Chord progression going throughout the song. The choir really adds some good depth to the track... Reminds me alot of something Hans Zimmer would make. Just Perfect in every way.

Yay!

I really love anything thats an exotic or ethnic type of music... So to me this is really awesome. It loops well, got some sweet percussion in it, and would be good for a menu in a game. That being said, You should chane up the melody a little in the middle. Thats really the only thing I dinged you for... But other than that, its great.

Holy Crap.

I just looked at your first submission, which I say is very good. and then this one.
And you have come a LONG way in FL for just a month... My favorite part was definanly 2:10 to the end. the guitar-like melody there is amazing... and once again your beats are really impressive, top-notch.

Some great stuff you got...

hey thanks man, appreciate it =D thanks for the ten ^_^

Wow

I can just feel the emotion pouring out of this... Very sad.

i love the simple chord progression going throughout the song, it makes the lyrics so much more powerful...

And for some reason, when I hear this I think about the sad part in the first shrek. Brings back memories of when i was younger...

Don't feel to down on your self to bad about the girl though... I had an instance when word got around that I liked a girl, and she said and I quote. "Why do all the freaks like me?" You wont be lonely forever buddy, someone will come along...

jackbliss responds:

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. I'm really sorry to hear about your own girl affair. The girl I liked wasn't half as mean but it still stung me deeply when she said she prefers her career to loving me. She was just using it as an excuse. Anywayz atleast I know now I got a decent song out of it. Take care man and I hope we both can find true love some day :-)

Grooving

You've got some really good grooves going... I also liked how you constantly added more layers to the synths and instruments. the melody that started at 1:29 was really cool. My favorite part was definantly 2:34 to 2:55. Really awesome stuff.

Amazing.

Just simply amazing.

I can tell you put a LOT of work into this one... and if you didnt I'm jealous. Cause the orchaestration is very good. Lots of parts going on, that don't conflict with each other. Good use of counter-melody... The gongs at the beggining are awesome.

1:16 to 1:56 or so was really cool, I liked the music box feel of it there.

The song itself is very dramatic and at the same time very mysterious... almost like a 90's thriller movie theme when you dont know who the bad guy is until the very end.

Very Awesome.

MusicalRocky responds:

Thanks, I did put a lot, the most work out of any singular orchestral work I've done.
The orchestration was a big focus, yeah.
Yeah, the gongs weren't really on purpose, they were part of the cymbal crashes lol.
I like that part too :P Good contrasting section.
Definitely dramatic and mysterious, though it is about discovering something, could be something mysterious, large and grand. Haha that 90's movie comparison reminded me of The Usual Suspects.

Thanks for the great review!

Really good.

You think you have enough cool little things on the title? XD jk.

I enjoyed the songs laid back nature, how it flowed so well into every new section, and then when it hit the big part with the guitar at 1:21, I was in shock of the awesomeness of it all. that was definantly my favorite part...

May I ask what instrument that is at the beggining? celesta maybe? I really like it, it vaguely reminds me of a music box.

Ludzix responds:

That's... VIBES XDDDDDD

OMG

Some parts of the song are actually quite deppressing, but when it hits the parts with the strings, it gets kind of bittersweet, like accepting your own demise almost... I especially like the guitar patterns you've got going, those parts were simply may I say divine.

I actually didnt notice when the song started over, it looped so well. There is definantly someone listening here, man. great job.

WOAH!

That transition at :47 or so was INTENSE! amazing. I like the constantly shifting melodies, kept it going well. I specially like 2:36 to the end. It was really moving. I dont see what the problem is with the drums... the chaotic rythems added to the song really well. good job

pheel responds:

Thanks very much :D
Glad you enjoyed it :)

Cool, but...

You do know you spelled emperor wrong? lol. :P

On the music, I dont have alot of experience in this genre. but it sounded good.
However, the tempo changes towards the end were a little jarring, and threw me off... but other than that it was good.

mikkim responds:

I know I spelled emperor wrong but I dont know how to spell emperor (not it)
